Lightweight Trolly Jack

Bought one of these at a clearance price at the end of Japfest a few years ago - one of the best things I've ever bought! Claim is, if a can of coke can get under - it can! Good length too so it can get to engine/diff mounts etc. Fortunately, my eldest and his friend carried it to the car for me  Not exactly lightweight!

be careful with the alloy ones
i have the machine mart 1.25 ton jacks and its rather flexible under load :EXTRAeek:
make sure you use it on absolutely flat ground, handbrake on and wheels chocked.
if you want a decent jack I'm afraid tried and tested steel is the best.
i have another steel low entry jack from machine mart that is fantastic it weighs a ton but lifts very high from a very low entry height.
it also has nylon castors so doesn't mark the drive.
one of the reasons i think the alloy jacks are a bit flimsy is because of that front roller it doesn't spread the load over wide enough area.
so if your going to get one buy the £180 one thats much bigger https://www.machinemart.co.uk/p/clarke-ctj2500qlg-2-5-tonne-aluminium-garage-j/

This is one of mine ... certainly couldn’t be described as lightweight.
