Well, I believe it must be a 240 to qualify which would limit the entry date to no later than 1974, I know some skullduggery was done with a 260 but it would be difficult to persuade the selection board and only confuse the issue !
The car and team would be on standby for the 24 hours plus (I believe) some 'practice' time and perhaps parade laps beforehand.
The time allotted to each 'plateau' - age period eg 1969-1976 is to be for a set time period eg: 2 hours every eg: 6 hours, meaning the car would be running for about 8 hours in total spread over the period 16:00 Staurday until 16:00 Sunday !
Do you understand this ok ? All these details will, of course need to be thrashed out well beforehand;
I will add that I spoke to one of our club members who is a mechanic teacher (whose school has provided Renault Sport amongst others with race engineers etc) and he is up for providing 3 advanced level students as a support team for one or more cars plus furnishing loads of tools neceassary !
Sponsorship is a must here, coupled with great publicity obtained from a united Clubs effort !
Thanks for the input Grolls !
