Le Mans 24Hrs 2009

I can get the entrance tickets at discount but not the camping ticket, at least not in our campsite and I wouldn't have you or anyone else stuck on their own, especially on their first trip so.....that's why I said that we would share our campsite passes to get you in the campsite - even cheaper for you !;)

But it will limit your vehicle movements but since we'll all be together before the race and during it, we can load up the cars that do have passes with those people whose cars don't !
To avoid this, I can get parking passes but it's simpler the above method - unless you can get a Camping Expo pass on club.arnage.com or from the UK ticket agencies.

I need to know VERY quickly though if I should book the extra entrance tickets - I suspect yes !

Problem resolved this morning at the A.C.O ticket office.

I'll have all of the tickets in all of the sizes and all of the colours. Delivered to me end -April and on to you shortly after.

I will shortly be sending you by PM the amount to pay me via PayPal - please add your full name and address in the PayPal message box.

Just to note, ticket orders for 2010 will be accepted from 1st June this year !

I'll be ordering (end of May this year) a quantity of tickets for Camping Expo. 2010 so let me know now for next year to avoid disappointment !

I remind you that (for 2009) tickets via me for 1x camping plot and 2x adults will cost €150 instead of €188 for the general public.

I also have a preferential ordering treatment regarding booking for Camping Expo as a long-term client and so a booking direct by you may end up with nothing or on another camping.

The ordinary one boyo.

For the classic, I'll start taking orders from early July onwards on a specific thread entitled :

Le Mans Classic 2010

Hmmm.... do I do the Classic next year or the regular LM24????? Gutted to have to miss the main event this year, and torn by the choice for next!

some of us r staying the hotel route so if you r interested we will be booking in the next 6 weeks,

Speak to some of those who were there for the classic last year - there should also be an article in the next virtual mag too plus photos !

To recap, coming from this forum are Dale and Skiddell. I have two more camping passes if anyone else wants to come. Extra entrance tickets at discount I can buy on the weekend.

I don't know if Mr Gaskin is still thinking of coming.....?

First come - first served.

Gentlemen - if you want your tickets - I need your addresses !

I can't get to the Post Office everyday so get into first gear please !

Cars registered to race :

3x Peugeots 908 Works Diesels against the 3x Audis R15Tdi and an extra Pug in the team who also have a Judd engined version.

But Audi have supplied 2x R10Tdi to the Kolles team so 4 Pugs v. 5 ringers !!!

Aston Martin (in Gulf colours) are now in GTP1 who're looking to celebrate the 50 years since their last win.

Bruno Senna at the wheel of a Courage-Oreca (2 cars) and others .....Creation, Strakka, Signature Plus....

In GT1 it's still Corvette v. Aston Martin but 2x works cars against a private entry....................... and two Lamborghinis Murceliagos - one Russian and the other (like last year) from Club Lamborghini of Japon !

LMP2 with 2x Porsches RS Spyders against 2x Mazdas, and the baby Pescas and two other teams.

Dr Shepherd in Greys' Anatomy will race his Ferrari 430, one of 10 registered against 5x Porsches 911 GT3RSRs and a Spyker and an Aston Martin V8 driven by Lord Drayson, Minister of Science and Innovation.

But the officla starter of Le Mans this year is none less than Luca di Montezmolo, President of Ferrari........maybe Ferrari will concentrat on endurance racing again and leave F1 to out-rule itslef !

Oh and some Datsun will be there so the rumour goes.............!

On which day (s) and at what time (s) are you two (Skidell and Dale) arriving please.

It's important so reply asap.

I don't know if I can get there before Friday night now, maybe even Saturday morning - work !!!

So someone who arrives early will need to reserve a space big enough for the rest of us - I normally do this on Wednesday afternoon but I don't think that's going to happen this year !

And can we swap mobile tel numbers please.

Gonna be a sprinkling of rain on/off 'til Thursday morning then it's gonna burn at 30°c for the weekend - the qualifying session to watch will be the Thursday night 7-9 then 10-12 with the fastest times being set either Wednesday 10:30 ish (if it's dry) or the same time Thursday - air temp down, track still sticky and still daylight - ish !

still need your mobile tel nos and when you're coming down please.

All going well, we should arrived on Thursday evening, between seven and eight o'clock. I'll see if I can find a 'ginormous' beach towel to put down. :D

And I'll give you my number again then!:)

If you're tenting - do NOT forget the club hammer and 6" nails !

I'll be there (should be there) later than expected but still Thursday evening so I'll bag what combined space I can and mark it out. Up to you guys to call me to find out where I am.

Thursday, I'll have my white LWB Kangoo van with a reg. no '14' at the end - Friday I go to work but "I'll be back" and in my Z.
