Bryn don't forget to visit us when you decide to do the 350Z feature mate, Stephen is on board too, as there's 2 clubs in the UK now, not just one ;)

I've posted this up on 300ZX.co.uk... Are you a member on there? Like I keep saying I don't want to upset anybody, are the two clubs friendly?

we're all friendly mate :) no worries

got lots of joint members and hold joint meetings so no problems

I have a Z32 (300zx) and could make the 15th with Nick and Geoff - or is that going to confuse the issue further

Thanks for the info guys, it's always worth asking as we've stepped on a few toes before without realising. The way we see it is we're all enthusiasts :)

Update: In a bizarre twist, I've just found out through a photographer that TOTB qualifying for FWD Fords is happening on the 22nd of June. The proposed day for the 2-series thrash... So after a quick bit of discussion we've decided to postpone this day for just under a month.

Reason being, although it would be mightily satisfying seeing a lot of FWD Fords getting blown away by older metal, it also means the track will be very, very busy and not ideal for us to have a relaxed day messing about. Bruntingthorpe obviously aren't going to turn work away, so didn't mention it.

So as it stands we'll do the 300ZX next Thursday and the 2 series guys, we'll see you in a month. Date to be confirmed, but it'll be mid week again, and likely the third or last week in July.

So anybody with a 300 Z31 or 32 that wants in, and I know there's a few who've already posted (I thankyaaa)

Names

1 -
2-
etc

Hi guys!
I'm sure I registered before, anyhows just registered again! I put my name down on 300zx.co.uk. So confirmed here to. :)

1) Pmac
2) Royal (also put name on 300zx.co.uk)

edit - Ahha Hello Pete!!

Right the 300 day is full it would seem, all the info can be found over on the 300 club website.

As for you two series guys, I'll drop back in with a date shortly and give you plenty of notice. There's now all sorts of problems because we can't do it on that date... I won't bore you with the details. Needless to say after all the messing around, we'd rather get it right than rush it. So stay tuned, unless somebody wants to take it on and get together eight two series cars and we'll provide the venue???

Speak later, Bryn

Thats what I did in 2000 for Mike Burch, series editor of Pulling Power which was being shown on ITV1 at the time.
Except I had two of each model from 240Z all the way thru to 300ZXTT.
Feature was presented by James Allen, now presenter of ITV's F1 program:bow:
Was a great day out! I still have the video!;)

Haha, I used to work for Mike Burch back in '99... We're not quite as glam, but we like to think a little bit more knowledgable... :)

stick me down in my old banger.260z,getting on a bit now might have to buy a new family saloon

I have spoken to SKiddell and He's up for it so that Makes:

Geoff Gale 240z
Nick Masters-Bond 240z
Steve Kiddell 240z
Status 260z

Only have to find 4 more and we're sorted let's get it together ! where's Tony 260 I'm sure he'd be up fot it whos got a 280zx to Run Mr Burns!!!!!

A July date may be ok for me with the 240, this month was out of the question due to work and short notice.

Let me know the actual date ASAP please.

I was just talking myself into it when I thought "Hang on, June 15th... I 'll be on my way to Le Mans!!!". Dammit! But then....

Wah-hey... A July date sounds good so I'll be game for that if getting time off work doesn't prove a problem.

BTW, on the rollers last week: 170 BHP, 194 ft/lb. I was pleased with that for an L28 with stock head and cam, and carbs that are too big. 89 Db still scary though!

Chris will not be able to get the day off but I'll ask if I can nick his 260Z for the day and I'll come

Well I am definitely up for it, if the car is ready in time, so I'll put my name down, but if the date proves to be early July, then put me in the reserves!

Geoff Gale 240z
Nick Masters-Bond 240z
Steve Kiddell 240z
Status 260z
Phil Ellicott - 240z (1jz engined) - if end july and car is ready
