Anyone thinking of going

Just been ofered Show pass may go seeing if anyone else will be going

1st October

Santa pod
 
Will go in mine weather permitting
Should be fun waiting an hr a pop for a run lol
 
Aww great stuff. I was planning on a local meet starts at 9am but was only for 3hrs

If weather looks fine think am gunna join you all down at pod
 
Santa Pod is also open until 8PM on the day before (Sat) - I might go then instead if I convince myself it'll be quieter. As Wyn mentions, waiting an hour in the queue between runs is no fun.
 
Well had a great day at the Pod,The weather was much better than forecasted had about 10 minutes of rain on arrival at 8.45 the rest of the day was dry , met up with Wyn and Moggy had a brief chat went on to watch Wyn take his beast down the strip :eek: looked great of the start ,and went well down the strip cautiously give it more power :driving: great watching you Wyn :thumbs:

Well i did look for you Derick but didnt find you. Spoke to Wyn then took the Nissan down the strip

I had a good weekend ,had a quick chat with Jon on the Saturday and managed to get 11 runs in and had a 2 hour break to watch some of the other cars.on sunday saw candy red with his candy red 280ZX ,quick chat with Wyn and stayed just long enough to see Wyn take it down the strip,well worth the wait !!!!!
 
I was there for the Sat morning and saw Mike. The weather was nice but my times were bad. 4 x 13.7 or 13.8 so at least I was consistent.
Next up, 14 Oct I think.

I'm a bit gutted I didn't come now. I had been looking at the forecast, which didn't look good, so I pulled the turbo for some repairs. I didn't rush to get it back together and wish I had now. I'll get it ready for the next one.

To be honest my times were not that good ,I was hoping for better.

Shame you didn't make John would have been good to have a catch up ;)

Missed Terry to in his smoking pick up saw him beat cars down the strip though :lol:

Also came away with these not a bad day for the first show of the year :)

That’s a strong looking cabinet, hard to tell from the grain if it’s oak? Given the lusture I’d say it’s treated softwood?
