JapFest Saturday 22nd May 2004
Castle Combe Circuit, Wiltshire

www.japfest.co.uk

This was a great event last year, even if the weather was a little on the damp side! I'm organising a Z club Stand again this year and have also invited the 300ZX forum guys n' girls and the 350 lot to join us. We are hoping to have a stand for about 30 cars with a gazebo (bring a chair), Tea and coffee (bring a mug) and general Z Club stuff.
If you are interested you need to let me know so I can get tickets and vehicle passes for you.

At the event there will be track time and if enough people are interested I will arrange for a Zed only session, what with the 350 gang it would be great to get the full spectrum of cars out together!! The track session will cost £17.50 per car.

For more info or if you want to book tickets aand/or track time let me know

Yes, I'm interested, especially if we can get a dedicated track session. It was very good last year. Track goers will need to remember Driving Licences in case they are asked for.

I drove back to Brentwood from Swansea at the weekend (been visiting in-laws) and of course went past Castle Coombe on the M4 on the way. It's a loooooong way from home! Blimey - better make sure the old girl is up to it!

Do you have to have a fantastic pristine car to be on the club stand at events or can anyone go? Wouldn't want anyone looking down their nose!

every car is welcome! well every Z/ZX is welcome

This is not a display stand, it is more like Billing, an area within a show where we can all park together, socialise and have a bit of fun. There will certainly be no down looking of noses!

But I suppose if bits are likely to drop off maybe you shouldn't go on the track

Or have someone behind you "riding shotgun" with a poop-scoop!

Been there, done that, bought the rust-remedy etc...

For those with a quick car Old Paddock Bend is the one to be wary of, until you know it. Most people are wary of Quarry and the rest are obvious. Also overtaking is forbidden in the others but not OPB!

Nobody in the Z club ever goes on a track(except Rob Gaskin) They all just say they fancy it. And nobody will ever commit to anything until the day before it is due to happen. Then the next month you get loads of new posts that say "We need more track days!"

sorry will not be able to make it suzy for two reasons. firstly they will not allow my car on the track at track days cos it is running on slicks and not road legal. secondly I am possibly at brands hatch with the car on the nissan stand for that weekend. who says I dont do shows as well lol ben and dee

Sorry you can't make it Ben and Dee, hope to see you at a hillclimb or two this year instead.

who says Z Club members aren't up for track dayz??

The numbers so far are

3 x 260
2 x 240
1 x 280

and from the other forums

7 x 300
6 x 350

I still have free entrance tickets and passes for the Z Club stand for Z Club members

Track session £17.50 per car
