......

From where I was standing John's car wasn't just quick because of the JZ transplant, it had much to do with the driver's skill  ....

I know, I've been around Spa in the car with him.

Here is some 'food for thought' Matt Bannister (racer) 2005 1.23.3, Charles Barter 2008 1.21.1 in 2.4 ltr cars running standard 240Z carbs, brakes (solid disc/drums), 14x6" wheels etc. Impressive!

Great drivers, great cars.

So any 350/370 times? I'd be interested because of owning one.

Cheers Adam

A great day out with some decent weather.
Julie & I managed to spend the day in Bath on Friday - 04:00 start from SE London dropped off the M4 and hit the A roads getting there. Overnight in Lacock and pulled up about 09:00 in the morning - nice to see so many cars.
Returned home with Dinner in Newbury and a late dash home.

Well attended event - will be nice to increase our numbers next year

BIG BIG THANKS TO JOHNYMD for the track session in his mighty quick 240Z, I have driven race car's at Combe, and his was not far off the pace. Really nice to meet some of you and the weather was great, I shall be there again next week for the Bank Holiday race meeting (not racing unfortunately) as part of the pit crew in the Dave Allen Memorial Race.
Thanks again for Brilliant Day, not to sure what to do with my 240Z now!

Apologies these are a bit late (I had to get my camera fixed and I left the SD card in it, only got it back today) but some pictures from the day. Looking froward to next year.
