Had a couple of letter that I thought were the tickets. Just checked after talking to Steve Burns. One had track time and all the donnington info along with one entry ticket and the other had a passenger track time ticket. No stand pass or second ticket. Spoke to Daren and he hasn't got his ticket yet.

Right guys, I've been in touch with Japfest, and we are having some tickets left on the gates for us, to cover those who have not received theirs in the post. Can anyone who has not received a ticket yet, please let me know that this is the case, so I can have an idea of how many we're going to need on Sunday morning at the gate.

So often at these type of events ticketing is late, it's so frustrating.

That is why when I've done Mallory I've got people to order direct from the organisers (including stand pass) it saves hassle and another person in the chain.

There will be a convoy of us from the North, meeting on the following points. Anyone who wishes to join up with us, please say so now, so we know whether to expect you or not. Of course if you don't commit and turn up that's fine, but it's nice to know who's coming so we can know when to set off.

Gates open to us at 6:30am and I'd like us to all get there around that time, or a little earlier, as then we get less hassle getting in. Doors don't open to the public until 9am.

Anyone who hasn't yet received their ticket, it would be best if you could make it to Donnington Park services off Jnc 23a of the M1 by 06:30 - 07:00 so that we can enter together, this will make it easier for us to claim your tickets at the gates.

A lady from donington rang me yesterday to check I got all my track time pass and stuff. I mentioned about the ticket problem and she assured me that it wouldn't be a problem and they would leave them at the gate for us.

I'm 150 miles away so won't be there by untill around 7:30 so don't wait for me.

It clashed with a vintage day at Shelsley Walsh Hillclimb and of particular interest was the fact that a car my Dad restored 45-50 years ago was attending. A Vauxhall 30-98.

It was fantastic to see it again.

It was a great day. Nice full stand. No problem with tickets at all. In fact we ended up with an excess lol. It was a really scorching day and I still look like a lobster.... well worth it

It was a good day on track. Car still overheating a bit but it was really hot. I paid for a garage which allowed the car and us to cool down a little.

No tickets on the gate dispite the girl from Donington assureing me that they would be left there for us. I manage to blag my way in as I was nearly late for the briefing but Daren wasn't so lucky.
