Green LHD 240z

The original hood that was on the car had a tin worm near the front of it, thus the hood change to a solid although wrong color hood. I rather like the flat black hood as well on the car. Can't wait to see some pics John.

New brown carpets arrived from Romas. Superb quality and fit. These are different from the last 2 sets I bought, being loop pile which I now prefer. I bought a full tan/butterscotch interior in real leather and just picked up the seats after having them fully rebuilt and the covers fitted. What a superb job they made too. Had to see what it looked like so install the carpets and seats. The rest of the leather interior is being supplied for the new owner to fit as I don't know his plans for the car. It really will be sad to see this one go. I just hope I can find another as good as this or I'll be kicking myself. I have thoroughly enjoyed owning and driving this one and I've clocked up a fair few miles.

I'm happy to hear that she treated you well and fun times were had.

It appears that your stable is a little light at the moment, might need some fresh metal to put that twinkle back in your eyes????

I'm always looking for that special car Mike. The yellow one that ships on Friday could be the one but I'll always be interested in others. I've enjoyed bringing all the cars back to a usable state and driving them as much as possible. I'm sure there are easier ways of making a little profit on something but probably not as enjoyable to me. I will continue to turn cars around and will stick to the type of cars I've been doing and at that price range. Anything nicer and you would probably struggle to get your money back. I believe there is a good market for the sub 10k, rust free, drivable cars in the UK and Europe but not so much for cars over this price.

Having bought a couple of 911's recently I wont be looking for lots of cars. I nearly bought a nice patinated '66 mustang last night. Blue with great interior, nice 289 and American racing wheels. Bargain at 7k delivered to the UK. It was sold by the time I got up this morning.

You're going to need another garage at this rate!

Yes, I know what your talking about "special cars".

I just bought Serial # 1466 yesterday and took it to the shop on a trailer.

1970 240Zed left hooker with a 1/70 build date.

Interesting going through all the parts and the minor differences that the early cars provide. I will start a thread in a few weeks.

Everything was stripped on the shell then sprayed everywhere...inside, outside. I will have to do a little detective work in small hidden places.
