I saw it on a trailer (the green one with the duff lacquer) when Mike in the US bought. It. He said it was a decent car with no rust. He had previously sold a '70 with the same paint finish, It's too much sun! That went for quite a bit more. Both decent examples. Look out for the green ones he has in the pipeline ...

Mike seams a real nice guy and a true zed enthusiast. He offered me another but I had spent all my money by then. How much did the other one go for?

Sean - It was the usual silvery bluey green type colour that you cant quite put your finger on. I'm pretty sure it wasn't white, unless it was really dirty. Which I suppose is possible.

Reassure me that you're not colour-blind like the other Essex lad......?:D

The '70 that Mike had that looked similar to this one went for about $10,750 from memory, I'd have to look it up ... price took off in the last couple of minutes ...

Looking at the amount of zeds not selling and the prices that they do sell for I think we can safely say they are all keepers now :)

If I was trying to sell either of my 240s I'd give serious consideration to physical auctions attached to events like classic race meetings or shows.

I think your right Rob and that may be the best way if I choose to sell any more.

I excuse myself if you upsets anyone but I think it's a really dumb idea to put a car 'off-the-boat' in an auction alongside 6-figure classic cars....IF it is accepted !

At worst it'll sell and cost you 20% but the buyers aren't stupid or blind and are they really going there to pick up a cheap project without a real choice of parts-suppliers or reliable specialists ?

To whom are you directing the sale of £10k LHD Zs ? Anyone wanting a solid base to convert RHD won't want to pay that.....or if they do they'll look to import themselves I'm sure.

Need to get realistic.

Believe there are more classic car shows than the major one at the NEC
They are all over the country with classic cars for sale does not have to be at the one that cars cost a kings ransome

I said as much on another thread,I think the UK/European market is pretty small.
With the market saturated with LHD US imports, UK/European values have dropped while US prices are still increasing.

Speak for yourselves, the European market is very healthy and not despite the imports but because of them.

You're on a small island with a prejudice for 'home' market rhd cars ; I repeat, to whom are you directing the sales ,
You need to target the correct public to have the correct price.;)
