Email notifications

I am not sure why but it appears that I am not getting any email notifications from the zclub for anything, none for conversations or forum threads , checked my notification preferences and they appear to be all in order.

Sorted it now checked my spam and it was in there, so now have done a unspam

Cool - was worried for a minute there! I know some servers block our mails because there were spam problems in the past.

Sometimes email is filtered at a level before it even reaches your spam folder so there is little you can do about it.

For some forums, I've set up a Gmail account with and auto-forward to my usual account just to bypass this kind of issue.

Alternatively, if you're able to load Tapatalk onto your phone then that can give instant notifications - quicker than emails.

Just for the record, my notifications are very sporadic, atm I'm getting none, sometimes I've had some and not others - never anything in my spam box.

That's a nightmare to diagnose. I can only assume that sometimes they reach a spam rating that means they are blocked and sometimes not.

Just one other thing to try if you download emails to your PC (using Outlook for example) then it might also be possible to read your emails online through a browser. I've seen it before where there is a different spam folder online which doesn't get downloaded to your email client. It might be worth looking into that.

That's just explained where all of mine have been going as well, just found them all in spam. Strange when I've had no issues before now....

I haven't used a desktop email client for many years, I always log in to the server directly via the browser.
