Fuel pump
Has anyone out there got a fuel pump for a 1972
240z ? It needs to be a 3 bolt fixing .

I presume you are looking for a mechanical pump. You probably won't find one listed anywhere for a 240Z apart from MJP auto (Mr.F) or some of the US parts websites.

There is one on e-bay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Datsun-24...887?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item4d311026cf .

Alternatively, wire in an electric Facet fuel pump and blank off the mechanical pump.

If basic electronics don't scare you, the clock is easy to fix. You simply replace the transistors, capacitors and resistors with new versions and she'll be better than new!!

I replaced the insides of mine with a porsche one I got on ebay for a few quid. Also very easy to do.

Mmm, can't really remember the details Andrew. I have a vague recollection I just had to take the face off it - and the whole unit fitted inside the Datsun body. Some hot melt glue may have been involved.
