Could this be saved??

I was looking at that advert yesterday, can't really tell much from the pictures though. It does look pretty far gone though!
 
Well I can only see small pictures but it looks pretty rough.

The guy is called 'tinman' and he says it's rough so I'm guessing it's beyond economical repair. I wouldn't touch it.
 
Sean alludes to a very good point here - that maybe a nightmare project but is nothing a touch of cross-breeding with a Californian donor wouldn't fix...

The supply of UK RHD parts for use in conversions from LHD will not last forever. Its cars like this that provide that supply.

If I had the space (which unfortunately I don't) and the price was sensible I'd have it and go to work with my toolkit and angle grinder to provide bits for "future projects"... ;)

tbh I don't really need it any offers of a better instrument in exchange - oil temp?
