near the top of the screen is a refresh button if you click on that after you log in the chatroom your name will come up in green on the home page straight away

Why not go in, when your out, or simply pop out while your in, that way you can stay out while you think your in but your really temporarily out. If you think your in but your really out, your probably only half way out, trying coming all the way out before going fully in.
This usually works for me, depending on how much Ive had to drink, and whether she is asleep.

Just so you know....

The reason it seems that people appear trapped in the chat room is because your pop up blockers prevent the window from showing that logs you out of the room when you exit :) You should add everything at zclub.net as safe if you have the option.

Derek Sulley showing in the chat room again whilst he's not on the site:D
Ya mean I've been talking to myself all this time in chat? LOL, j/k. When I entered, it showed Derek as not being in there anymore on the home page. I guess it's not refreshing properly.

Also, why are you guys clicking on the Red Dot to exit chat? Since it automatically opens up in a separate window, I just click on the X in the upper right corner of the box to close out the entire window (just like you would any other internet site). I still have my window open for the forum, and it logs me right out of chat, which is also indicated on the forum home page. :)

Do like the chat room but by the time I've typed a reply with one oily finger the subject has moved on. Maybe if I tried chatting with Z Car Barbie I'd get an instant reply:confused: . Hows about the club provides a new service :- Global conference calling:eek: Funding could be an issue, but that could be discussed over the phone.

Mick

The same with me. I also found that chat works better with 2 people otherwise the conversations start getting crossed up and confused. Perhaps this is just because I am not used to it.

My Daughter is 10 and she seems to be able to use several chat rooms at once:eek: . I have windows XP which claims to be able to convert speech to text and vice versa but I think you need some extra software to use it, anyone know what it is?? and do I really want Dr Stephen Hawkins voice coming out of my speakers??

LOL, you guys are so funny! :p

Oh, and, yes, Dr. Shemp, the software is called Dragon NaturallySpeaking. I don't think it'll work in our chat room, but it's supposed to work with AOL and some of the other online chat rooms.
