Can't handle these tyres anymore

Ok so it's 225 road tyres T1R are ok (my lad had some) and get Tel to fit power steering.

My 370Z was designed for really wide tyres, it has PS and it still 'fights me' on white lines. Rears are wider - have you thought about narrow fronts only?

So PS in your view is of no practical use in this application ? The cars are miles apart to compare so.

Yep - build a dragster....:D

For Sean's benefit:

Fit road tyres, seriously consider PS (it must be really heavy), consider a 'staggered' configuration.

For info only, my 370Z is staggered, has PS and road tyres but still tramlines. So you might never get rid of it if you want the wide-tyre look.

Track biased tyres often have stiffer sidewalls, which are fine on smooths tracks, but can be a pain on the road. Sticking wide wheels and tyres on aren't always going to give you the best handling and certainly going to a slightly narrower tyre on an appropriate sized rim could bring benefits.

So get your geometry and corner weights checked and then atleast you know everything is pointed in the right direction ;)

I have messed about with 048 yoko's and 888's and gone through all sort of geometry settings and could not eliminate the tramlining. In the end, I opted for road tyres and swapped to T1R's and problem eliminated. This was not in a zed but 70's Nissan. Steering is still heavy when parking etc due to +ve castor settings but managable and no PS...swap to road tyres and you will feel the difference. And no track work just fast road usage

I'm in no doubt tyres will change it completely which is why this thread is titles as it is

I did have 9" wheels up front but they didn't fill the arches properly and the tyres had different stretch

Not bothered about the heavy steering....I'm a man and I grew up when only Jags and Rolls had PAS.

I'll get the geo done and then wait for these tyres to wear out and wear out and and go road.

In the meantime stick to only decent roads

Im running 8.5's up front and they fill the arch fine but they do have the correct offset
