Hey all
I finally started on my 260z, stripping the car completely and removing the tar that the PO put there.

I knew the car must have had a bump on the right hand side. And that there were some place with rust. I started removing the tar at the right side. You can easily spot the previous welds. These are substantial, so I think it must have had a collision at some point. However, after some extra digging. I did find something disturbing!

Looks to me like a dodgy repair. I haven´t spoken to my welder yet. Wanted to hear your advice. This part of the car is the worst. The rest seems relatively ok...Would you conitinue with this shell, or start looking for something else ?
