Got home tonight to a suspicious looking package from ZClub shop in a jiffy bag - I thought Saz had been ordering some extra "evening entertainment" so to speak, but no, it was the Z008 DVD.

I had to wait for her to get home from work before watching it or death would have been unavoidable!

We plugged the laptop into the TV and then sat back to watch it. What can I say! Raj you have done us more than proud! You have ultimately captured the event in all its glory and caught every single highlight of the event! All I was thinking as I was watching it was "I SOOOOOOOOOOOOO want to be back there right now". If anything it has made us want to make Z009 EVEN BETTER and I promise everyone that it WILL be!!

I feel SO PROUD right now! It really did make all the effort worthwhile.

To everyone who attended - you ARE on there! Buy your copy now and make the last little bit of difference for a very good cause!

Thank you so much to everyone who made this the event it was, see you next year!!!

Raj is a superstar, his enthusiasm and dedication is fantastic!

He worked his socks off that weekend and afterwards too! much respect to Raj and Chillie!

He has managed to create a lasting memory of a tozzin' event and because of him and chillie we can enjoy it all over again.

He did not have to do this but he wanted to as he is a true enthusiast and has done everyone proud!!

He's a SupermateTM! His enthusiasm knows no bounds and he colours an incredible picture every time he logs on here. I saw the DVD before it was released (a rough not quite finished version) and even that was absolutely blinding. The event comes over so well, friendly and well organised. A festival spirit for lovers of a common interest. And then given a work over that pushes the bar to 11 across the board, DJ style. A big welcome to the club proper to Andy & Saz. Just keep up that intensity and it'll catch on.

Just watched the finished DVD and it although the draft copy you sent me a few weeks back was good the finished article is so much better

It really captures the atmosphere of the whole event

Everyone who was there really should think about getting a copy to relive the whole thing

Also tremendous in-site into the Z meet scene for people who have not been to a meet before

Well done fella you are a gem
 
WTF ? I've only ever seen this bloke over a motorway service station coffee-stained table when the best we had to drink was some disgusting instant coffee......are we talking about the same man ? He was a great fan of Mercedes vans then - the one you quote only drives Transits !

MERC-KY waterz!

Yes I did have a Merc Van,& it literally flew fully loaded ! Me & chilli were coming home
after a gig one morning & all of a sudden we could'nt see through the windscreen?
More bladdy smoke than the smoke machinez we use on stage! anyway I
slapped! chilli in the face, & got home( who'z home it was I don't know)? I could'nt bladdy
see. Anyway I rang some engine Specialist for some advice & he bladdy bought it !
Apparently,it was one of the injectorZ. I then bought a TRANZIT,due to partz
available readily,& itz a greaty workhorse! albeit, a slow one ( I think it has a limiter on it)
set at 20MPH only zeddin'. .It'll do a ton all day long.
So Forget the 350Z lump in a Z get a TRANNY 2.5 diesal in yer Z &
you'll definately be sorry!:D DJZ 60.:p

Note: Tranny 2 .5 iz the heaviest MF i've ever come across,I bought a Brand NEW engine
in a crate,& it pancaked my DJ Trolley, I suffocated the barsteward with some sheeting!

I remember when I pulled into the Z CLUB area at BILLING,many yearz ago.Steve Lack
took a picture of me arriving in my 260Z 2+2 (itz in his gallery). This was my 1St Z Meet !
It was laid back,The sun was shining,& the atmosphere waz great! I met
PMAC,STATUS,ZBLOKE.PHIL MILLER,STEVE,ALBRECHT,& LOADZ OF OTHERZ....
This waz it! I loved That kind of atmosphere ! Over the yearz,Billing became
'Something else' It had lost it'z charm,atmosphere & I thought nah! not for me.:(
Then came along. . . . . .Andy & SAZ :bow: Wow!
I thought ? an Event being organized at Billing. .is there a small chance this duo
can recreate,an almost perfect! Event ? Anyway... I wanted to be a part of it !
& Andy & Saz delivered ! it waz the Ultimate dream,my dream of re-living BILLING
at itz best. I thought I'll help,in anyway I can & did some Promo's & thingz,which led to THE ZOO8 ZVD.
Andy & Saz are like the Posh & Beck'z of our Z world. A dynamic
& credible team,that put up a Great Show. I look forwardz to ZOO9 & recommend it
to anyone that wantz to experience an amazin' & outstanding event.

Case looks stunning Jak, looking forward to watching it oneday.

I notice it says it's the 4th Z Club dvd, I'm pretty sure I've bought everyone so far, but don't remember having four? I'll check it out when I get home to make sure I have them all :)
