69 Datsun 510 track ready

Yeh I saw that. How come they look so good and yet they are only a boxy shape?

Is that a genuine sss, correct dash etc?

Coz it was designed by the Italian design house "pinifa####na# at the request of Mr K who fed back to the Nissan team in Japan that USA needed a simple no frills type of economy car ...:rolleyes: another urban myth.

The car for sale is a US spec 510. They never sold the SSS in that market. Not that the original model makes any difference in this case as many bits have been upgraded including dash.
 
I think there may be room if I leave Sues car on the road.

As you did not found answers to your parking space questions, I made the trip to UK yesterday...
Car loaded in the van and back home!
I could not resist the more I was looking at details: This is a real track 510!
When having a test drive, the problem was not the side of the steering Wheel... but the true dog leg gearbox with the reverse gear up left!!
Another particularity that will keep me Young! :thumbs:

The chap selling it is finishing a GT40 project that will appear at Le Mans Classic.
Even being a Porsche fan, the 510 gave him a taste of Datsun, and he is potentially looking at a 240Z. :cheers:

My dilema for 2016 will be Spa Classics! The caged white 300ZX now has its new clutch for the power, but maybe it would be a nice opportunity to test the 510???

I'll help that choice - I've already got a 300ZX booked in and need some variety and to base the average age of cars on the stand....you KNOW what to do Hubert et félicitations ;):cheers: !
