...was in reference to the Crossfire.

re. 370Z - I'm uneasy about the rear end styling and the effect it has on its better angles, e.g front three-quarter. Like the interior refinements. Don't like the loss of the rear cross brace - the iconic jewel under glass.

Alright - I made the reference to the crossfire - you returned with a sarky comment from grey-locks - one could very easily assume.......:p

None of the other Zs before the Z33 had one as standard - stop whinging and start stocking them - you'll sell thousands !

Basically the 370Z looks like it's waiting to pounce, the 240Z looks fast standing still (lowering helps) and it's a great look - I still maintain that the 350Z looks chubby on its' wheels and sits nicely..........but it sits !

I agree with most of that. But I think like the 350, it (370) needs the nismo kit to achieve that. It gives it the leaning forward dynamacism of a car that's moving whilst standing still. The 240 did this by curvy haunches leading all the way from the back to the point in the middle front. Awesome. I don't think you'd be allowed to make cars like you used to (as a manufacturer) any more because of all of the safety features they have to adhere to now. Everything is chunky now (even Ferraris & Lambo/Audis). It's kind of like the 'renaissance' painters and their curvy ladies. It's the aesthetic of the day. I'm not looking forward to the 'impressionist' period! Oh Lordy...
