I love the profile but the front under the bonnet is too Mitsu Evo for me and the rear doesn't do it for me - the rear valence need to eb the same colour - not black.

Make a nice kit car....which would be novel - take one Z and make it into ......a Z (not some poor copy of some sh*te exotica that a sorted Z can p*ss all over anyway !

I think this design is stunning, but too 240 ish! I'd prefer the original everytime, not a copy.

So maybe like this then monsieur...

I coloured the rear diffuser in too but it's too slender a shape for it and it ends up looking a bit daft (so I left it black). Silver wheels looks great too. Wonder if the shape would fit on an s30 chassis? If so then it's do-able.

Is the 370 better than the 350?
It is like saying the 260 is better than the 240.
Originals are always best.

Is the 350 the original one then ? I thought that the idea was to carry on a bit from the 240Z ?

Jak - you got the rear nice and the wheels look good but the front is still too fussy - even in the same colour. What about losing the sloping bits going up to the bonnet, smaller brake air ducts and the rest underneath all one panel ?

Alright - it's Miura - ok ?

Next we could move onto the 2000GT and revamp that........might look like an Alfa GTOC though !

....and that only works for bog-standard road cars. I don't think that the 350 IS better - I think Nissan have improved but in any case - it looks better !

So sorry guys and gals,,,ive given it a couple days from looking at it at japfest and the verdict from me is not good . Nice looking car,,I think the trouble is it just doesn't look like a bloody Z ! Never know, it may grow on me , and I hope it's a good seller! :driving:

I must admit, in silver it doesn't look great. But a flat yellow, orange or white with black shoes and then it's a case of hell yeah. If you have a look at the 370z section on here I've put up some pics from the tokyo auto salon and they look incredible. Go here...

Thus and so...

That's pretty good, eh? Any more fiddling and it's just gonna be a Z with a kit on it...

I dunno - starting to look dangerously like a Mini............

zpuppy - interesting point - I wonder how people felt when the Z31 came out and then the Z32......?

Probably no different to what some owners of E-Type Jags think of the newer model ones say and XKR. Changing technology, aerodynamics and materials/metals.

Just been invited along to an 'Exclusive Review' at my local dealer on Saturday, so no doubt the general public will be there then.

Hope it's a good colour. I would like to see one sitting next to my 350Z for comparison. Perhaps I could have a 24hr test drive - I have a trackday at Donington soon:driving:.

Been to see a Le Mans Blue car today at my local dealer (invite plus Martinmac info).

I have now changed my mind about the 370Z, I love it!

Last week the car in Silver didn't impress and it was next to low track cars. Today in the sunshine and in a dealer's car park the blue car looked fantastic!

Biggest improvement - the interior, the quality is twice as good as my original 350.

I was allowed to start it up (button not key) and see the new instrumentation layout.

Also the boot is so much more practical - this is not a trackday car so it's important especially for sales figures to Joe Public.

When the 370 was announed I thought 'great there should be some good deals on 350s' but now I don't want a 350 I want a 370!

Only thing I would change is the grill area which I would prefer to be all black (EVO style).
