350Z Ownership

Well my 350Z is now sold, I put a very basic advert on Pistonheads and it went to the first person that came to see it.

The car has been an absolute dream to own and drive. Every mile was a pleasure and it made me feel great.

It has been 100% reliable over the 3.5 years I've owned it, I can honestly say I've not had to buy a single non-consumable item.

Many thanks to MrF for his test drive and advice when I bought it and huge thanks to Martin Mac. for tipping me off about a fantastic offer from Nissan Europe of a new engine in exchange for a high mileage unit.

I pick my 370Z up tomorrow, I just hope it serves me as well!

I'll post pics soon.

Very sad and very happy at the same time Rob. The 370z is a great car and I know you will really enjoy it.

Whoever gets the 350z is getting a really good car, it was great to see Nissan getting proactive and I couldnt think of a more deserving person for the new engine offer.

I await the pics.

I'm glad you had as much out of your 350Z as I did mine. I'm sure you'll love your 370 just as much - it'll be a blast mate (just as soon as you get past the running in period!)

Paul, I haven't bought a brand new car - my wife wanted me to and there were some very good deals around. I've bought a 1 year old Tiptronic car from a private seller but it is very low mileage.

Ah right, in that case let the fun begin NOW! As you say, there are some bargains around for sure.

Pictures please!

Not my car but it looks like this, RHD, 2k mls. Drove it home today from Manchester, lovely - but need a few more miles to get used to the Tiptronic box. My Dad says our house will look like a Fire Station!

Lovely!

I like the red ones! They are (surprisingly) rare too

Yep I've never seen a Red one on the road, infact I've hardly seen any 370s

Martin, the 240 is still the car that would attract most interest at Z meetings mainly because it's 'different' e.g. modified, individual and has 'patina' as Duncan would say! However I could take both if I involve my eldest lad.

The 370 is a lovely car but it could be anybody's, I've spent hundreds of hours on my 240 - it has a lot of me in it and loads of character. Two very different cars for very different purposes - I love em both! I need to get a 'twin' picture when the weather improves.

It's obviously a GT (or you couldn't have had the clever 'box) but does it have any other options? Anything planned? ;)

He is saving up for the petrol Paul.

Yeh, it's a bit thirsty. Sorry very busy with my son's wedding on Friday and selling 350 stuff.

Cleaned the 370Z today, it looks amazing - as new. I'll start a new thread about 370Zs!

somewhat off topic, but did you by any chance go to a Red Dragon Race Club track day at Silverstone in May Paul_S? I think I may have passed you on track in my MR2 Turbo :D

Looking very clean Rob  I must say from your first 2 photo's, I don't remembering you being that tall when we met!

Nope, it wasn't me. But If it had been you'd probably have passed me as well!
