280Z.....'G'

About 9 out of the 8 garages I approached to do my car.

This isn't a dig a Romas, just pointing out that although the car has a very well done body, 45k it isn't. The open market has shown this.

You're lucky - must be a lot of unemployment down your way for garages to be so desperate.:)

Almost impossible to find someone here (at a reasonable price) to work on classic cars !

He's only just stared advertising it on car and classic, before it was only on Leboncoin here in France - hardly worthy of such a car and only really surveyed by froggies and not the whole of Europe - it'll sell and I'll know the price.;)

Don't be narrow minded Sean. None of the places were desperate for work. I really don't understand your angle. All the places you'd want your car to go to are busy.

The car was on facebook for a few months?

There was a smiley afterwards Jason - of course one wants a busy garage but the fact OVER HERE is that there are no corner garages and machine/engineering shops - costs are just much so there are big companies needing big margins and there aint many French willing to send their baby abroad to be fixed up.

Granted but to a Datsun-only audience - I advised the guy to show it further afield - we'll see. His brother has a bone-stock red 240Z (keeping it) - thay make nice photos alongside.
