"260z 2+2".

Have a Triaxis preamp coupled with a simul class 2 90 stereo power amp / have a heartbreaker 2 x 12 combo, the rest is Marshall.

Personally I do not like Santana's style but the sound is in both the triaxis and the heartbreaker.

The Marshall is a white reissue half stack - using my Les Paul it is instant Free / Thin Lizzy / that Kinda thang

sorry to pi** on ya fireworks m8 but that was a bad choice of aircraft, the hurricane shot more aircraft down than the spitfire and the only good thing is the spit had better "lines" my opinion of course! lol
 
The'Spit MK5 outclassed the hurricane,Messerscmitt,Zero & it's only rival was the Mustang, therefore the only rival to the 2+2
is the 2+4.
 
Err, if the 240 was a Spitfire, you want to add, the 260 2 seater would be a Hurricane, the 260 2+2 you might like to see as a Mosquito ?
The Spit didn't outclass the Zero or the 109 ! all were good at different things. Bearing in mind that the 109 in B of B conditions had it's combat time limited by the flight here and back and that if the pilot parachuted he was unlikely to return to combat.....

Even the Mustang was supplied with the Spit engine....

sorry to be a sad git but had to find out, the original engine in a p51 was a 37 litre v12 made by alinson..........imagine that in a z ./....lol
 
Wanna hear something really strange?? Go to a tractor pull in Canada or the States and your likely to trip over a half dozen P51 V12's sitting in any manner of Massey Ferguson or John Deere Farm tractor pulling 20 tonne of sled down a dirt track !! Jesus Wept !! Sure is something to see them lite up though !! Wooooo!!
 
I thought that as the 109 had injection, it didn't suffer fuel starvation in tight turns and heights compared to the Merlin powered fighters ?
 
i think you'll find the merlins were injected and then the yanks designed superchargers for them, then we put them in the latest spits.
 
The alinson engine was rubbish,& the Mustang with that engine
only dealt with reconnaissance low level dutie's.The pilot's soon noticed the difference 'arrive the Merlin'.
The Messerscmitt pilot's were scared of height's & suffered from Vertigo,like James Stewart & the injector's did'nt really help
at high altitude's.
Goering (not Goertz) along with A couple of smashed up
Messerscmitt's & some other Focker's came up with the prototype
& design (which included catured P51's & Spitfire Mk 5) which
evolved into My 260Z 2+2.......................................
DJZ 60.
 
Anyway,Forget aeroplanes for a bit.......
My 260z 2+2 is like a fit bird as opposed to Janet Street
Porter,like a D-type,E-type Jaguar instead of a Rover P6, like a
Mozart in comparision to G4, Like Marilyn Monroe instead of Dot
cotton,..............You know I can go on & on & on.......
