Regarding the welting, i had that debate myself.. One side the arches sat perfectly, but the otherside had gaps juuust wide enough to look ****. I had asked the guy who fit the rivnuts to tweak the fit, but he didnt bother and i only noticed it after paint.
My friends who have seen the car prefer it with welting as it compliments the dark doorshut lines and sill edges.

Headlight covers i am 50/50 about.. I just added them to the purchase from MJP as i had parts coming from him anyway

I never said I had an original 432 grill... I have one with diamond pattern grill.. Anybody got a pic of an original?

I think the welting looks good personally in the context of the arches matching the body colour. It complements the panel gaps and makes the arches "pop" a bit.

The relatively light bronze wheels look cool with the blue as well btw.

It's when one sees the profile of an unglassed S30 that one can really appreciate the beauty in the shape, the roof-line - the aggressivity - it's perfect !

Would have been better if designers had adopted a pillarless approach which would have further enhanced the roof line etc. All IMHO ..:)

Nah, even if the door windows had had no frame (as per the 280ZXs) which I would have loved, I'd still have wanted a B pillar but with opening rear 1/4 lights, again as per the 260Zs.

It's not a TA22/3 !

Did 260Z's have opening rear 1/4 lights :confused:. My 260Z doesn't have them although my earlier +2 did :unsure:
