My transformed 260z

Many thanks indeed for all the kind comments. I appreciate some of the additions wont be to everyone’s liking but if we where all the same it would be a very boring world :D lol.

Currently working on the best options with Mike Feeney to lower the front so hopefully this will be resolved in a few weeks. Car has also had rather alot of interest from car magazines for a feature and following some consideration it will be getting shot for a publication in a well known mag once the suspension is sorted. Watch this space.

Many thanks.

Will

Yes looks really good - apart from those bolt-on wheel arches which I always think ruin the beautiful lines of the car. Still - each to their own! You've done a great job with it. Now enjoy!

Whatchutalkingabout Wills?

The car looks though and I like it. I've always like red cars but for some but won't buy another/paint any cars red - another stupid story for another time.

Details on your wheels please?
The way how it sits looks great.

Getting there and recent meet pics...

Been a while since i have been on here and updated so thought i would bring you upto speed with #devilzed and progress.

Some of you may have seen the car at Japfest and car is due for a feature in a mag soon which im over the moon about.

Lots done, notably a cool bit of channeling between the bumper and chassie just below the front grille, some upgraded mechanics, break ducting linked too the front bumper, exhaust tucked and centralised, front coilovers fitted, annual carb set up and new gaskets.

Anyway will try and update more when i can, however pics below as i know you guys love a good pic. Many thanks also to Mike Feeney for organising parts over the recent weeks in the lead up to the car being used as my brother wedding car. Car has some starting issues just a few weeks before the big day and mike was amazing pulling everything together with my builder Bobby @ Zealou5 who i highly recommend to anyone in the south looking for work to be done.

Thank you for the comments chaps. Still lots to keep me busy on but wanted to enjoy it over the summer. Compiling a list for the winter months, next step will be some small rust attention work but nothing major, just got to keep on top of it and some interior work.

Hope to catch up with you guys soon and let me know if your attending any meets in the Somerset/Wiltshire area over the forthcoming months and will be sure to attend.

Hey WillsZed,

Thanks for the update on the wheels. They sit nicely. If you didn't have the fenders and the bodywork cut, would you be rubbing on the wheels?

As for the Somerset area, I used to live down that way. Place called Freshford just outside bath in a 14th century house. The place was huge. Anyhow lovely part of the world, just you lot put the words in the wrong places when speaking.

Ie: "Where go to?"

Have you any plans to put her on a Dyno at all?

No probs.

Ah Freshford, know it well, small world. Got some very good friends who live at the top of the hill next to Homewood House, lovely village.
Not originally from Bath so dont worry, i speak proorrperr ;)

Now i will look into it but i dont think the bodywork is cut. Fender where on when i got the car, although red, and i have pics somewhere of the shell restoration so will have a look through for you. And the answer to your question if im correct is No they would not rub.

Will have a little look through pics and let you know buddy.

Nice car, I am running BF Goodrich T/A 's myself 205x14 on 6"x14 front and 225x14" on 7"x14 wolfrace slots on the rear, Since my car will never see a test centre (vintage exempt here in the Republic) covering the rubber is not an issue, neither is the loud side pipe or the tint on the windows.
Keep it up, looking forward to sorting my ventilation issues left over from the RHD conversion.

Looking awesome Will! Love the black flares over the red. Really breaks it up more.

Get some photos of the interior in! I want to see my old dash! :D
