first time in 16 runs i'd ever won...... yup that sleeper clio even had 1.2 on the door trim, apparently the guy had total'd his previous williams so bought a new she'll and swapped!

thanks suzy, gonna try to make another one tonight, the internal camera is good but it does mean i've got 6 wood screws through my dash board..... needed replacing anyway
 
Only one problem with the Video. My car aint in it!! :) It also looks far to easy with an auto box ;) .

i caught one of your runs on film so i'll try and cut that into something, auto box racing is in some ways easier though launching takes a bit of practice, plus with only one wrist working properly i cant change gear in my van on a normal road, let alone whilst racing. after the op i might change to a manual but til then i'm an auto boy
 
Cant wate to see it :D . I must admit the film clip of you is great and I absolutely love the Clio:) . Puts me in mind of the V8 thing I was up against. It went down in 11.4, left me well and truly standing lol. Cant remember what it was though.

Hi Andy,

I ran a 13.67 last time (first time) @ 107mph. Good enough for the hall of fame me thinks!

Hopefully we'll get to run up the quarter along side each other. Should make things a little more interesting (read stressful!)

That reminds me, when is the next event?
 
Out of interest (for those that participate in the drag challenge) I have been watching the "Castrol Challenge" that Santa pod host.

Its an online league table of the RWYB days and the person with the fastest time at the end of the season wins loads of goodies.........bit crappy really as the guy who won it last year was a certain Mr Frost who owns a certain Vauxhall that can do 8 second passes all day, like we're going to compete with that .......NOT:mad:
Why on earth they dont have classes is beyond me:conf2: as the guy with the biggest budget wins all.
However its free to join and gets your name up in lights
All you have to do is register (online) and put your race number on your car before every eligable RWYB day and the officials will do the rest
