Albrecht said:solid mount(s) are just going to shift the problem somewhere else temporarily. Not a good idea in the long term. I've seen broken engine brackets and severely cracked front crossmembers caused by solid engine mounts. Uprated rubber versions of the original design are available, and kill more than two birds with one stone.
