NEC Classic Car Show

Fact is if you have a Fairlady Roaster or Z from before 1978 - you get a hug. Otherwise you need to have a current model and perhaps be seen to be in with Nissan - outside of that....forget about the register.

they have been the same with me but then i have wot they call in their eyes a ZED,not zx but that is up to them,i was a member for a long while and have recently tried to rejoin but as i said in this discusion earlier they dont return my calls or emails, now correct me if im wrong the register were quite happy to join forces when we had Billing

From my understanding, the classic z register is for 240/260z's. Many owners clubs are just for specific models just like the 350z owners club, for example. I dont see a problem with this. This shouldn't stop us joining forces for events though.

Totally agree with Mr Palmer.
They cater for S30's which is alright with me.
There are other clubs for later models so whats the problem?
They have always been very welcoming to me.
To join forces for a large show just makes good sense to me.
Lifes too short for a whole lot of political bullshi*!!!

totally agree with you jon and Andrew,im not interested in 300s or 350s,even though i had one once, but wot Sean said in his last breath is quite true ,and if you were to show either of these models at a classic car show that would open up another debate (or can of worms) one for later maybe

Parking at the Airport train station was a fiver all day after 10 O'clock when I went to Top Gear Live last month. And you just go up the escalator, over the Bridge straight into NEC..

I got the Train down, with the plan to have a few beers on the way home, unfortunately so did about 2000 other people and Midland Trains decided 2 carriages were enough!!!

And bet I guess what one of the next few posts will say

Could I ask all users to think about what they are posting and if it would jeopardise any avenue of help in investigating what is now required at the NEC as it would seem that the extent of background display has reduced tremendously from when we used to attend and as such the expenditure to provide a stand has dropped significantly
