F1 Competition 2013

Well I think there's been enough input now on this matter, so going along with the general consensus we will leave everything as it is.

As has been done before in previous years, everyone is welcome to ask that their previous weeks predictions are used again if they don't have time. Indeed, Aceman won it a few year back by being dull and picking the same order each week! ;):p

That I did - my tactic being to predict the final table and just select that!

And Im going to be boring this week (annoying) as Im overseas so limited on internet (I have 5 mins but next to no access - jumping on someone's unsecured house to post this!) so please put the same order for me in again for this weekend (unless I manage to find some internet properly and think about changes!!)

The whole thing sucks and is a pointless event for racing fans

One team says to one of their drivers turn your fuel down and even though your team mate has managed his fuel better we will not allow you team mate to overtake you

(can not understand this as there was a chance the driver behind was being held up and could have gained a further place from the pair in front)

Another Team says to both drivers hold station (at that stage of the race can understand as no threat from behind) and one of them says eff off my ego will not allow that and I am more going to overtake even though the other driver who was in front complies

And as only the second Race of the season why not just connect the two cars in a team in the order you want them to finish and tow the second car though the whole race

racing it is a joke

Hi guys, I'm away from home this weekend at a mates wedding so I can't update the proper table, but below is the current standings until I get back (next weekend). By Burnsie's last post it must have been an 'eventful' race? Shame I missed it.

1. Aceman - 21 (today) - 52 (total)
2. candy red - 25 - 47
3. andrew muir - 20 - 45
4. Dale - 22 - 44
5. zedboy - 18 - 43
6. Z-hunter - 22 - 42
7. dav350z - 22 - 41
8. madmarco - 22 - 39
9. franky - 17 - 37
9. Nigel Brook - 15 - 37
9. Rob Gaskin - 17 - 37
12. STEVE BURNS - 17 - 33
13. rsj - 12 - 32
14. zedache - 9 - 31
15. Swordley - 23 - 29

Thanks Dale.

It wasn't an awful race IMO I enjoyed quite a lot of it but the Team Orders bit was an issue and always will be.

If the 4 drivers in question had been allowed to race to the flag it may have been even better.

Alonso was hoping a bit much.

Martin Brundle did well with the podium interviews.

I think it has 'spiced' things up a bit - just what we needed. Let the character of these guys show for the rest of the season!

The Press/Media will love this race.

Kimi/Natalie ice racing - he is so funny, so laid-back.
