Yep, sentiments as above - well done Rob (and there you were claiming I was almost uncatchable a few weeks back - but this year, apart from Vettel winning, the rest have been all over the place!).
Too much faith in Kovaleinen these last two races, and way too much faith in Button/Perez/McClaren hopefully turning something around over the season really hurt me.
Next year though should be a complete guess! Especialy if the rumours are correct and the Mercedes engine is proving the better V6 in testing so far. Would have thought Renault had a lot more experience of those engine types (most Renault hot hatches have been v6 turbos!) but guessing that it's not translating as well to the race track. Hopefully Red Bull keep in there though with the car design (although how Adrian sorts out the CURRS cooling will be interesting, especially with the battery under the fuel tank).
Shame to wave goodbye to Cosworth (again), and is sad Webber is leaving. Always seemed a nice character who just never had the luck of others. Shame, but hopefully he'll move on bigger and better in a different field. Sad also that Di Resta may not have a seat next year. Always been one of those promising drivers I thought, but I guess he just doesn't have the monetary backing some of the others do.
And someone please slap that wet fish Hamilton around the face and tell him to pick himself up. If I hear him moan, or in a downbeat manner yet again, I'll bloomin' do it myself! He's gone from being hated as an overly cocky, annoying tw*t, to being a downbeat, lacking confidence, annoying tw*t. His PR team needs to have words!!!!
