Thanks Mr Ex......but I wasn't completely correct here ! This is the official explanation put out but in fact, at this point, Hitler was still counting upon a cease-fire/truce/peace between Britain and Germany with an agreement that Germany keep territory won up until the French coalfields in depts 59 and 62 and the Alsace region.

Hitler still thought (rightly ?) that the risk came from the East and hoped to seal his western back door before aiming for the snow !

If he hadn't attacked Poland but France instead, he might have got it !

I agree their is nothing like meeting face to face and getting to know people in person, This is why the GTIROC has died a death as a club, No one ever meets so their can be a lot of argument amongst the newer members who just don't know each other at all really.

Personally I look forward to meeting as many of you guys as pos next year if I can make it down to some of your events, I wont be going as many things as I'd like but living in Aberdeen these days makes it not only difficult but expensive to come down south.

Mind you it must be getting hard for a lot of you old codgers to get in and out of your z's these days :eek:;), Maybe it's time for the Daewoo Matiz :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:.
