The left hookers came with really nice factory mirrors IMO. Shame they are not quite universal.

red baron is a good one to ask about this, at least for the UK anyway (given his first-hand experience in the 70s). He was telling me a while back about how the cars used to arrive at the dealership with a variety of stuff not fitted. Can't remember all the specifics now, but it was very interesting.
