There is no southern leg, its west coast and north............the trip is missing the best part Ireland, and also the best driving roads IMO.
i know what your saying jay, but there were a lot of things to be considered which included the wives and what they wanted to see and do on the trip, but the n 59 is a really good drive clarkson and co did it in jan of this year
Southern as not NI. I agree that there possibly should be some southern things put in there.
as above time did not allow, and thank you for your map
Where abouts will you guys be meeting in Dublin on Saturday 3rd? Might join you for a bit of the first leg of your journey
meeting the guys at the port at 11.30am sat morning then to the airport as pauls wife could not make the boat, then i think the n7 down to limerick/ennis
day 1 dublin to ennis, staying at the west county hotel ennis, should be a buzzing night there as its fully booked out as phil coulter is in concert there that night.
day 2 on to probably salthill galway, as none of the city centrehotels have car parks only on street parking, bit of a hiccup with the hotel i had booked but i shall sort or change it tomorrow
day 3 to westport staying at the castlecourt hotel, some nice shops and restaurants there too
day 4 to bundoran, staying at the holyrood hotel, there will be music entertainment in the bar that night foc, then hand over to andrew
all the hotels were chosen because of price/location they all have a leisure centre/pool, BECAUSE I KNOW STEVE LIKES A GOOD SESSION IN THE GYM TO START THE DAY OFF!!!!!!!! what they lack in luxury they make up for in friendliness
asfaik the guys are back in dublin fri evening where i was thinking of booking them into the springfield hotel leixlip if the girls want liffey valley shopping or the red cow because of the luas if they want city centre sight seeing, this tbc, but i will organise a few drinks for the fri night or maybe even a bbq at mine this tbc
all are welcome to join us at all or any part of the trip.
