I'm after some new wipers and wondered if anyone has any experience of these or, with Mike out of action, any recommendations as to where to look, cheers.

the aftermarket one's don't seem to bend to the shape of the windscreen properly. for that price you could get original one's from US. there's always several on ebay USA or check out Zcardepot own site where their usually cheaper still.

Just be a bit careful with US imports. Because of the bend at the end of the wiper arms they are handed so they are mostly OK for a LHD but no good for a RHD.

Wiper blades

You could try Nissan part B6370-N3500 (the wiper blades are the same both sides on UK cars), although they are black-finished.

Are they solid arms as above as stock ?

I have a pair of wiper blade carriers assumed from a 240? but they are fine spindly spar construction ?
Ducati trellis like.

Here are some images of part B6370-N3500, superseded from the factory-original. This superseded part is the "wire-type" assembly, but the area around the pivot pin is different from the originals (see image).
