Just a reminder that the 'home market' for these cars was Japan.

Home market HS30-H model 'Fairlady 240ZG' had satin black painted wiper arms as stock equipment, with specific part numbers to suit.

Yep:). Good point. These cars are Japanese for those who need reminding!!. The thread does though relate to the 260z. Our 'home market is UK & NI' and is in some ways distinct. Again my own recollection is that early (maybe pre 76) z's had stainless steel wipers:).
 
Mines been sitting in the garage for the last 35 years and I believe is all original except for wolfrace slots and a black vinyl roof stainless steel.
 
Did Nissan (Datsun GB) supply (black) arms for Zs in the intervening years which weren't in fact OEM to 260Zs ?

I have a 75 2+2 with silver wiper arms. One of mine is broken so would be interested in yours if still for sale. I will PM you later.
