Which one would it be?

I'd go for the Orange one as I just bought the grey one!!! ha ha only kiddin.

If you are going to keep it standard then the orange one, if you are going to mess with it then go for the "gray" one. Both are very nice in their own way.

Actually looking at the pictures in more detail scrap the grey one...go for the orange one. As an old car dealer friend of mine would say " It's foking immaculate"

Orange one every day. Even hough it's an auto it's lovely. Pure and unspoiled. The white one is now 'up-north' in a very non-dry state (although that engine bay is a thing of beauty) so is probably hiding a multitude of sins. The Grey one (although it would probably be ridiculously quick) looks like a halfords special. Purity for me here.

Gotta say the Orange one, the grey one has some great mods, but the orange one looks the best car.

Tbh I thought the same - the orange car is the 'safe bet' from a financial perspective and has that special something that only standard well looked after classic cars posses. It will always have a known value.

The white car is nice and if in this country would be worth a look but not as special as the orange car.

The grey car will have had a fortune spent on it and many many hours work, would go like hell and has a manual 6 speed box. But everyone is attracted to the unmolested auto with horrible wheel trims and a plastic body line stuck to the side.

Interesting.

the grey one -to h*ll with global warming!!
dont like the orange one,and already got a white one !!!(with lots of brown bits, hee hee!!)

i would not go for the grey one as i think it is hiding rust under the paint, just look at the rear panel and the tailgate slam panel which is a shame as the power would be fantastic and they have spent a lot of money on the car.the white i think would be too much money so its orange for me if i wanted a very original car

Buy the orange one and the grey one, put all the goodies off the grey one into the best shell and sell off the grey one with standard stuff to help offset the financial pain.
Then go have fun!

Who would want an auto Z? And white with blue interior? No matter how rare, not for me...

Same here the interior always has to be black, I chose the orange one though because it just looks so right, like the one pmac bought off Will, just from the photo's I would not touch the other 2 with a barge pole, maybe I have an eye for a good Z when I see one :D

Mike. I like your thinking, spot on.

The orange car sounds like the best option, but its a lot of money just for a shell. I just don't like the look of standard cars so if I bought it I'd be junking most of the bits and that just wouldn't be right. So the orange ones out.

The grey one really appeals to me but I think the paints covering up to many problems so thats out.

The white one is to expensive for what again would be just a shell so thats out aswell.

So that leaves me with the only option of getting my arse in gear and finishing mine.

PS. There was a grey one on hybrid a little while ago with a 7m toyota engine and "ALL THE WRIGHT BITS". It was a well documented and very well known car with nothing to hide. This was around $12,000 and would have been the car for me.

I'd have the grey one myself because I don't like mint original cars personally, I'd rather have something I can play around with and not feel guilty about modding, Or get flack from all the girly originality mad brigade.

They're all nice cars though, I think the grey one might be a bit scary to live with though lol.

Rob

ps those original wheel trims on the orange car are bloody awful lol.

Buy the orange one & mod it to your own taste I say, you will probably find hardly any of us like bog std original cars anyway, the orange one just looks a good straight & solid shell to start with so bolt on the goodies of your choice & away to go. :D

Ok yeah the orange one is tidy. It's the captain sensible option. Either way you will end up spending a fortune changing it, so you may as well stick with what you have unless? You stick your neck out and go for the exciting option and buy the grey one Yee Ha!

Exactly, but that's sitting on the fence Matt - not your style.

The grey one would be bloody scary on its stock brakes and that engine will, or may have already, twisted the chassis, especially as there does appear to be rust.

The white one, oh my good white with blue/black interior, no thanks!

The orange one does look mint but l don't 'do' standard so I'm with Mr F on this, buy orange and grey and swap the best bits, add some more and sell the grey reminants.
