what to do with this

Franky this happened about a month ago half way down the strip, as I said its been a bit breathy for the last 1000 miles or so but still pulling 11.4s, after seeing the moulton piston I was thinking injector trouble or oxygen getting in where it shouldn't, but now after close inspection of the other pistons its quite clear the stock piston lands couldn't handle the boost being high comp then after breaking up causing friction and heat never the less I will have my injectors flow tested

PICT TO SHOW SEE THE CRACKS

TOPS OF THE PISTONS NORMAL

HAD TO PICK THESE BITS OUT

managed to find a couple of hours today so chased the block threads out and fitted the ARP studs then put the head on 110 ft/lbs torque is quite tight you know , took a couple of us to hold the engine stand still

Tel I have been very interested in this project since day 1 after seeing your first 240 resto & think this one is going to turn out to be something very special indeed, the choice of colour could not be bettered in my opinion (my favorite colour of all time jagermeister orange) Do not have a problem with the bmw plant either because its something different & think it will surprise everyone.

Visually I feel your Z will turn out to be one of the best if not the best in the world !!!!

Hi Tel long time no speak, I knew you would pull it off  the Z is absolutely stunning,

just a little update here long awaited parcel arrived today so hopefully get some power down without worrying

They doo look nice tel

But where do get your 9 stud rear wheels from :D

btw. you wanna watch they don't go join dot to dot with all them ols ;)

At last ! They look nice Terry.
So you'll be running some boost next year then

Yes Matt a rolling road session will be required as its still running a high compression map, so a little bit more ignition and up the rev limiter to say 8700 should be fine with the arrow rods and arp stuff
