Russ, Any idea why I sometimes can't see the option to 'View First Unread' when looking at threads on the Forum?

Not wanting to sound sarcastic but are there actually any new posts, also if you know there are new posts but you use the back button it wont show the message because your going back over already opened pages, then again i might be talking out of my backside

the only time a "view new post" appears at the top of a thread is when there is a the "new post" showing in the "user CP" box on the top left of the home page
I'm not the greatest on the PC but there are definitely times when there are new posts i.e. listed on the 'New Posts' page and when I select the Thread I have to go to the last posting and work my way back up!
I still don't see any Trade Banners either.

And as if by magic - it happened this morning with the following thread:

And there was definitely a new unread post by Albrecht when I scrolled down to the end...
TBH I can live with it - but it is irritating at times, so if it were something obvious and easy to fix ...
