I like the way this V8 fits the engine bay of this 280ZX 2+2!...

Fit is helped:
1. By being LHD - parts are available off the shelf for mounts etc.
2. By using cast iron manifolds instead of headers.

Only ever seen two UK V8 road-legal 280ZX and one of those was reputed to have been sent to Scarab in USA for the conversion and then shipped back. The header configuration around the steering box had to be seen to be believed!

It is definatly gorgeous, but if I was being really really critical I would of replaced the two water bottles, and done away with the viscous fan and replaced with a thermo controlled electric one.

Nice to see the altenator in a sensible place making it easy to get to unlike a large proportion of cars ever made (but probably offset by the oil filter being in a really nasty place to get to lol). Another couple of nice touches are the seperate cross members to the bulkhead avoiding clearance under the hood, and everything just looks fresh and new as if it was designed originally that way. Very modern looking engine bay. Big thumbs up on that one.
