Tyre pressure S30 on 16" wheels

I am running the following tyre sizes:

Front: 205/50/16
Rear: 225/45/16

I am running 26psi all round and the car feels stable. Does that pressure sound about right?

Sounds about right tyre pressure usually written on the side of the tyre

So, I run stock 14” 195s and used to pump them to 34 psi. But that was clearly too much as the car was a bit jittery. Found that the happy place was about 30PSI.

Just experiment with it and the car will speak to you.

Thanks Ali, I too use to be guilty and over inflate and I know what you mean about being jittery, scary during turns..

I've run mine on 30psi last few years and the wear is even across the width of the tread

Given the lack of weight, 26/28 cold might be about right. depends on how soft the tyre wall is also.

As above really, obviously the lower the profile then generally more pressure required over standard.
