Top Gear-New Series!

I think the hydrogen fuel cell cars are definitely the way forward for family motoring and I'd be quite happy to have one as my main car, They don't really make many cars that I'd personally think of as a future classic anymore anyway, Apart from the expensive car's like Aston's and Ferrari's so I see it as a good thing for the future.

That said I agree with captain Jack that the Government will have to tax us to death in other ways to replace the fuel revenue they currently rob us of on a daily basis. But just maybe by the time these cars become readily available they just may have sorted out the countries finances.

As for top gear last night I thought it was shite again, Tom Jones should stick to singing as he's got the personality of a wet cardboard box, The V8 rocking chair was a total waste of film as was the jag and caravan link :confused::unsure:.

I was disappointed they didn't do much with the touring car section. They could've got some of those old cars round the track to see the track times. I know they wouldn't of amounted to much but it'd be cool anyway. Tom Jones does lack the star quality he brings to the music stage quite considerably. He's a great singer / shouter but not the most talkie person out there. Jay Leno's garage is awesome. I've seen it before on quite a few programmes. He is a proper motor enthusiast. It seemed to end quite quickly last night. The award section seemed quite laboured as well. Not my favourite episode this series, I must say.
 
I actually enjoyed the J leno bit the most and the touring car crashes where also good, I remember the big Alfa smash.

I thought the V8 rocking chair was funny but I have to agree that Tom Jones is a bit boring.
The touring car segment was the best bit though.
 
He's got all manner of cars and bikes in there (along with a lot of the publications they were running at the time). It's all in the details! I'm sure he's got a McLaren F1 in there and even a Brough Superior too. He knows where it's at.

We seem to be having loads of problems with the bbc at the mo, their timing has been way out very often the end of a recorded program is chopped off.
 
I thought it was very cool. What a beautiful place! The chicks who made the clothes for them were cool too. That's service my friends. Love it. Clarkson obviously being told he has to 'up' his injury count to keep people thinking he's less of a git, it's all good. They entertain the hell outta me.
