You're all a bunch of over-sensitive ninnies !
If anyone posts up here, be preapred for debate and discussion and no-one can or should control it - keeping polite is all that is necessary.
Comments against the additive are not accepted and badly taken - then those who have received the comments comment back and these are not accepted then everyone throws their toys outa the pram and says they aint stsicking around here because they've been 'offended'........
Britain was once made of sterner stuff !
Never mind, get your lawyers out and it's briefs at dawn !
Just shows that it doesn't need me on here to stir it..............btw, one says legible not readable - THAT is correct English but don't take me too seriously.......
Thanks Sean, I am glad you agree that "keeping it polite is all that is necessary". That was all I was trying to say.
But as a journalist of 35 years standing, who until very recently was second in command of one of Britain's biggest regional dailies, correcting me on my English would be a bit like me trying to advise you how best to change a gearbox in a 240Z - ridiculous!
For the record, 'legible' means can easily be deciphered - for instance, it is not in badly scrawled handwriting or covered in coffee stains etc.
'Readable' means easy to understand, namely written in good English with correct grammar and spelling.
The two words are totally different, and 'readable' was what I meant.
Let's agree - you stick to engines, I'll stick to words . . . and maybe we can help each other out where we can!
