Iv took the roof down to metal as it looks like it was flatted with a grinder at some point very bad prep on the last paint job i may do the rest of the shell, we will see?? some filler needed on the dents and the rear quarter joins but that,s all

as with most projects they often take longer than we expect but at least it will be painted soon so that you can start fiting parts back on ready to get back on the road

is it me or does it look like a pinky orange colour or is it your camera, looks good though.

thank. sorry took the pic on my phone so not the best, maybe should of just wiped my phone down first lol, but yes its a very very bright orange. i did manage to get a small run or 2 but they will flat out no prob then ill mop it all over to bring the gloss up, iv changed my mined on the shade of colour about 3 times but then decided to just mix my own it will deff stand out:thumbs:

just thought id pop a pic up of the Z now iv got the wheels back, and on the car again. had them recoloured gloss black im very pleased with them look a lot better than the graphite, they were done by the wheel specialist in Burton on Trent, as i supply all there new tyres at a very good price they did the wheels for me.
what do you all think, im pleased with the car so far even tho its on a budget (opening for Sean to say hes not impressed with it) ONLY KIDDING Sean mate:D

cheers

wow, I think I might have a spot of car envy. The black wheels do set the colour scheme off very well. This was one of the schemes that I thought of for my Z and your pictures might push me in that direction.

What size tyres are they? The size looks modern and yet classic.

I kinda like it without the doors, but maybe that is taking form over function!

yep, definitely got car envy :)

tyres are 245,40,15 i would really like 245,45,15 but not available so at some point ill change the wheels to 16" and run 245,45,16 for road use and keep the 15" for track fun. i have to have it with no doors at the mo as the car is at home now and my garage is so tight i cant open them without banging the wall:eek:
