That's true :) OK so let's go with departing from Tescos at 9.30am  :smoke:

I was at the April one and it was busy. I was in before 9 and I think at some point they stopped taking cars into the inner circle as it was full regardless of age and importance. Just put them all in the field. I’m keen to get there a little earlier if that works for anyone else? I will also be with aidy and Neil so can try to find us a spot. There was a great little fenced area I was in just to the left when you hit the buildings from the field side. How many cars in total and is it allowed to say I’m saving the spots for others?

You can save spots for others but need to be a bit creative - park with wide spaces at first then re-park when others arrive, anyone got traffic cones? or a pair of loose seats as we happened to have worked well;) Last year we had an official Z Club booking but it made no difference, no allocated stand and still a bun fight for best spots. I'm happy to meet up earlier and go in together, what time are you thinking?

The April event was a Petrolicious event and nothing to do with this coming weekends event. At the Petrolicious event the only cars not parked on the grass were cars invited by Petrolicious to be a part of the 'show'. They chose 200 (I think it was 200) mostly Petrolicious members cars, That's how Woody got his Z into the show, he's a Petrolicious member.
As far as getting in I was about the 3rd or 4th car from the front of the queue to get in(before they opened the gates). For a moment I thought we were going to be able to get our cars into the main show area but they already had the entrances blocked off.
I did read something a couple of weeks ago re this weekend stating that we will be able to get our cars into the main show area this time, but it's on a first come first served basis. And as far as opening times go the is no mention of any entry time other than 10am for both punters & show cars(it also clearly states that on the tickets) so if we arrive nice and early and get the to front of the queue we may get a good spot, otherwise we'll be on the grass along side all those muppets in new porsches.

Is it ticket in advance only, or do you think I'll get away with just turning up?

I've booked. See you there. Or maybe at your house. When will you leave home Jake?
It's less than 35 mins to get from my place to the meet up point @ Tescos so will be leaving here at 8.45 as departing from meet up point at 9.30(gates open 10am) and it's less than 1.5 miles from Tescos to the event.

Great news Tim
Meet up at Tesco's OK for me. What time ?
I think the lawn area is where we were last year - when the event was called the 'Flywheel'

That was a nice spot last year.

Sounds Good..

I have a ticket and should be 3 of us. What’s this about lawn or inner circle? I went in April and was parked up next to the old buildings in the pre 90’s free for all park where you like type thing. Is that not the same this weekend ? Is their a designated area for us? Please let me know as would be good to park together.

I just made the comment as I'd noted on the the terms in 2nd release tickets that you don't seem to be able to park up with pre 1990's in the Technical Area, only for 1st release. Could be wrong..

For visitors arriving in a classic vehicle registered before 1990 - free forward parking available on the airfield around the entrance to the Technical Site at Bicester Heritage, subject to availability.

Lawn area was fine last year. Not sure if there is a dedicated area tbh. Arriving together I guess ensures a line up on the lawn if not. Or as Jake said, early birds may get in to the inner circle
