Standard ride height 240z

Hi all,

Can anyone confirm the distance from the ground to the floor plan for me please?

I have a 71' 240z but I believe it's super low. I took it to a garage the other day and a usual road hump on the roads posed a big problem!

If anyone could be so kind, I'd really appriciate your help.

Thanks

Hi Moggy,

Not a UK spec car, Cali import via Wheels of Old.

It just feels incredibly low. I don't mind, as I like it's current stance.

Hope you can help.

Thanks in advance.

Just compare your's to pictures of others

That will give you an idea surely.

If you say it's incredibly low then it will be lowered because 240Zs are not incredibly low in standard form.

They are low compared to modern road cars, is that what you are referring to?

Thanks for that, I'll and get some pictures this weekend and post them up, hopefully get some verdicts...

I've had experience with a lot of fast cars, but the s30 i have now is the first z i have seen which i bought staight away .I believe it feels as low as something like an Elise.

Mn.260 that is usefull info, but astroboy are you running standard period wheels and tires??
Is your suspension stock??
I doubt it unless your car has come out of a time machine:)
There are loads of things that will determine the ride height.....
