Why not considering doing this in 2006. This year happens so much, such as; Holland international weekend, your week.......

We may well do it next year - but why not this year as well ! Not everyone can make it to Billing/Luxembourg/Hungary or even Holland !

I'm hoping to make it to Holland, I will (of course) be at Le Mans and I think we'll do at least part of the Spanish Trip, especially since we've just bought a baby food warmer to use from a cigar lighter !

If I was rich and retired, I'd do them all !

So you may come in June, just to the pre Le Mans weekend like Frank de Waal ? Or on to the big race, beer and BBQs ?

Spanish TRip will begin the 13th of May, the Grand Prix Historicat Pau is on 14/15th May, after which we'd head on down to Sapin via the mountains !

Still looking for firm bookings !

Sean,

You might just have saved me a major cock-up there - I had the Historic GP at Pau down for the wrong date on my calendar - didn't realise it had changed - you see I was thinking about trying to get a cheap flight to Toulouse and nab a lift to go to this event with a friend of mine over there - I can just see it now driving into Pau to find nothing going on - ouch - I would have been popular!

Sadly due to lack of 'suitable' car and so on (euphemism for lack of travelling funds) I can't feasibly join your tour ...

For anyone wanting to look at pictures of last year's event and so on here is a link http://grandprixhistorique.com/14_edition2004/Photos.htm - I went to the Monaco Historic Grand Prix (another cheap flight and seedy hotel special, I'm afraid) last year myself and if it is even half as good as that one was it is very worthwhile!!

Hope it goes well - I am very jealous of you all as the only car I got to drive around that area was a rented Renault Clio about 8 years ago ...! But if I do make it over on the plane I'll certainly keep my eyes open for any Zs ...

Well, I was really up for this, but that was before I decided I was going to work for myself, and not only that try to get 2 companies off the ground simaltaneously, it seems to have taken all my time and shows no signs of abating. (not surprising, I guess! :( )

Add that to my proposed wedding in July, and I guess 2005 is gonna get swallowed up and real leisure pursuits are gonna be the first to pay the price. So, I must decline.

I do hope it's a huge success and runs again in 2006, when I will indeed come along, assuming things are on a more even keel by then (I bloody well hope so!).

CheerZ,
JB.

Mike,
I could lend you my Z31 ? Great photos !

John-Boy, good bloody luck but don't forget to have some fun too !

You can be sure there'll be something in 2006, probably with a circuit day in it somewhere !

Next year, if your car isn't ready, you can always fly down and cheaply rent a Z off Z STORYS (Zs at Barcelona) !

I realise now why the complicity between you and DJ - I never reaslised you have a 2+2 too ! That's all they have as 260s over here in France - no-one's seen a 260 2 seater !
