In which case, I'm packing me bags and going to IoM

Tis very nice over there, and you pay barely any tax, there is plenty of relocation (both personal and business) packages available :) Take me with you if you go!

What is next is the government going issue us with drinking vouchers allowing us only to able purchase the safe amount of alcohol pre week!
14 for women and 21 units for men.
It will probably be linked with our I.D cards.
This country is fast becoming a dictatorship
IoM here I come.

Cheers Al

Talking of which, did you see our new dictator on telly this evening?

***yawn***

You know what? I think he's a zombie - the living dead. There isn't one single spark of life in his eyes and his voice is so dull it makes listening to Morrissey sound exciting.

Roll on the general election...

Apparently there are some ban-exempted public areas - outside airport terminal buildings...may A**ah be praised..... !

was about time the whole of the UK was smoke free. For once the UK was well behind most other European countries on this.

Looking forward to when I don't have to smell like an ashtray coming home from my next evening out !

I gave it up 6 months ago purely because no one was going to force me to do it. I've managed fine but now as a non smoker strongly object to being told that even if I wanted to I can't smoke in my own office which I built and paid for and also pay extortionate business rates on. What next, ban smoking in your own house or garage when working on your Z? Incidentally my father smoked for 70 years and died last year aged 94, my father in law died 16 years ago of lung cancer and had never smoked in his Life!

Ps Vin, don't mention it on 300zx.co.uk, Trish wants to keep it a secret and surprise all you headcases for some reason...!

Mick. I am banned from the 300zx forum mate so I wont be telling anyone.:D Not that I would mention it anyway. I look forward to seeing you again buddy. All the best.

PMSL. even though it isnt a funny subject. That was clever and very topical mate. Nothing wrong with a bit of humour to liven things up?

Illegal parking... probably speeding in the car park too....

Just be glad the only person hurt was one of them.

Back to the smoking thread, I have to say it's nice to go into a pub and not pong when I come out, or find myself in the no-smoking part of a resturant which happens to be right next to the smoking-allowed bit (it has happened and it wasn't funny!).

point to ponder

The small recess in the centre console of a Z31, forward from the mirror controls and behind the gearshift, is the perfect size for a fag packet...(unless you smoke super kings)

Interesting. ??
