i hope karen is well enough to be air lifted home by now. i will try and find out on monday morning and post what i hear but i do think a nice gesture from the club would bring a very much needed smile on both their faces as i fear this will be a very long and unpleasant road they have turned onto.

again i would like to appologise if i offended anyone in my previous post as i do tend to be rather passionate and maybe type too fast for my own good.

i spoke to a member of Fourways staff today, it transpires that Geoffs wife, Karen has had titainium rods placed in her neck and some bones welded together. Geoff is trying to get her into a rehabilitation hospital where alot more physio can be done. No flowers have been sent yet as Kings hospital dont approve of them. Im told Karen will be moved asap and when this happens i will forward them from the club.
 
I spoke to geoff yesterday and Karen is still at Kings hospital hence i couldn't send any flowers as yet. Geoff is still trying to get karen into a specialist hospital but due to a lack of beds it is proving rather difficult to say the least.

Geoff and Karen are aware that the club have had a whip round for flowers and are deeply touched by the sentiment and would like to say a big thankyou to everyone in the club. karen has said please tell everyone that " i will make sure i'm back in a 240Z as soon as possible"
 
I had'nt noticed this thread until this morning, very sad news and glad to see
karen is already on the mend :)

I would also like to make a contribution as fourways restored my car and geoff was pleasant and accomodating throughout.

Im at work at the moment but can post off a cheque first thing tomorrow
