yep I used a 20mm L/S carbide on a CNC mill , had a small diameter extended tool holder though so could get down far enough , other option was a lathe with a 4 jaw but would of had to clock it all so easier to just wobble it on mill,

The other option is just to swap the bearings out and just clearance the back of the housing

Forgive the dumb question but what size bearings would you swap them out for!?

U can use the original bearing off the original 240 box, but it’s perhaps slightly weaker as its smaller.
