Restoring Door Hinges

What should I do to restore these door hinges?




Is blasting ok or will they need acid dipped?

Whats the standard finish on them? Painted same as the car?

I did mine a while ago so I'll dig the pics out when I'm not at work. I just dismantled, which wasn't easy, then hot them and phosphate them. Only phosphated because we had the facility at work and it was free. Makes storing them a bit less rusty. You'll need a set of new pins and bushes.

Queue someone who sells them..................
 
Are new pins and bushes easy to come by?

Was thinking about getting them zinc plated before painting them.
 
Mike, MJP, does a pin and bush repair kit, i dont think the Nissan originals are available anymore
 
Is the only way to restore the look to remove the pins? And therefore necessitate buying new ones.

I have restore one hinge, got the pin and bush kit from MJP. It is a bit of a job getting the old pin out, but after that it is plain sailing. Cleaned the two parts in the rotary brush, primed and body colour painted them before inserting the new pin and bushes
